I have had to tack down my shades in the living room because it is tearing them up and scratching up the window sill...So i have jumped on to it over and over before i tacked them, now it knows it cannot get in the window....Do you think that would make a cat pee elsewheres besides the litter box.?

THanks

  1. possibly. cats, unlike dogs know how to get even. after i had my cat neutered, he used the bathroom on my bed. i took him to the vet. everything checked out normal and the vet told me that he was just mad at me. cats can be very vindictive!

  2. No. It shouldn't unless it's possessed and it hates you.

  3. your cat might be in heat and that's why it might be trying to get out! But yes he will get you back if you have scolded him, pets are just like kids! LOL! ☺

  4. Yes, he will pay you back for giving him a scolding, have you looked into getting a scratching post for your cat? If the cat has claws he is going to need something to sharpen them with, it also helps break off the old broken claws its just something that cats naturally do, you aren't going  to stop him from scratching something, obviously he liked your window sill, but you have to find something else to use to scratch on.. personal I now get my cats declawed when they are young.  Once I had a little barn made out of plywood and carpet, it was really nice, it was shated like a barn with an opening on each side and on the side it had a carpet covered silo, and that had a little mouse with  catni, the cats loved it.  good luck  Aprilp on a string stapled to the top of the silo

  5. Yes, ours got mad at my husband and used his pillow as a litter box.

    We got the message! :-)
