  1. yes because you r basically burning it


  2. you rapidly dehydrate a snail when you salt it, so i would say yes.

    it's all osmosis- there is more free-water per weight in the snail than there is in the salt, creating an osmotic pressure difference.

    the water quickly leaves to snail to balance this out.  This will happen with frogs too.  Anything that always has a slimy wetness

  3. im sure it has some autoresponse that lets it know to stay away from salt fields

    they literally drain themselves of their body fluids just to get rid of the salt
