  1. Yes!

  2. yes.

  3. yes

  4. yes, i used to have eczema and really bad depression and mood swings. since i became a vegetarian, i have not gotten an ezcema break out, my moods are stable and am actually happier than i have ever been in my life. i lost weight, i look 10 years younger, my concentration is better,  i feel like i am contributing to earth and humanity and the animal kingdom. there are so many positives..

  5. I would say that a balanced diet including meat must be healthier than a vegetarian diet, humans have been eating meat for thousands of years.

  6. i am sorta a vegitarian.  i dont eat any red meat such as hamburgers steak etc but i do eat chicken. i think what i do is healthy bc i need protien. hope this helps :]

  7. Yes.

Beans, pulses and nuts are so much nicer than meat, you can be very creative with the dishes you make.

And you have a much smaller chance of getting food poisoning from them!

  8. vegetarian diet is definitely better than a meat inclusive diet as the load on the liver and kidneys is much lighter.

  9. In general i think a vegan/vegetarian diet is more healthy. Mostly because we usually have to consider what we eat before we consume it. Also there are less vegan/veg junk foods available. But like Hollywood said, balance is the key. Vegetarians aren't going to be healthy if the subside on cheese pizza and soft drinks. There are both healthy and unhealthy veg*ns. Same can be said for omni's, I'm sure there are healthy and unhealthy omni's too.

  10. yes, always

  11. Yes it is.

A huge body of scientific evidence now shows us that a well-balanced, 100% plant-based (veggie) diet will keep you fighting fit and healthy - and chances are if you stop eating meat, you'll live longer too. You probably think that veggies and vegans have to take mineral and vitamin supplements, but it's not true. As long as you eat a varied diet of fresh fruit and vegetables, along with grains, beans and nuts, you will obtain all the nutrients that you need for a healthy body.

You can get plenty of protein from eating foods containing soya and nuts, including veggie burgers and veggie sausages, and even from peanut butter sandwiches, and baked beans on toast! If you consume a lot of meat and dairy products, you can actually take in too much protein, which can cause damage to your kidneys.

Half of all adults in the UK are overweight or obese and childhood obesity is on the increase. This is due in large part to the amount of saturated fats found in most foods containing animal ingredients. Saturated animal fat not only piles on the pounds, but increases your risk of the three big killers - heart disease, cancer and stroke, as well as diabetes, and a host of other health problems.

  13. YES I DO.

  14. I think a balanced vegetarian or vegan diet is one of the healthiest around.

I can only speak for myself on this one, but I feel far healthier since cutting meat out.

It's balance that is the important part. Variety in any diet is essential for good health.

  15. Ethically and environmentally - yes

Nutritionally - It can be, but isn't always.  A diet of nothing but potato chips and candy could be vegetarian but obviously not healthy.

  16. Seeing that I see a heart spec.he has always said  red meat once a week as its not good for you . We can have pork( it is considered a white meat),Chicken,Fish(Orange roughy?) and ground turkey.

I could never be a vegetarian even if it is better.
