  1. We went while on tour this summer, only so I could show my family what it is.  My son may never have another chance.  It's a cultural thing, though it's kinda gross...I just put it out of my mind.

De dónde eres?  Fuimos en Sevilla, donde viví hace muchos años.

  2. I am Spanish also, I was in Spain 2 years ago and saw El Juli fight in Valencia, it was awesome! I like bullfighting, and totally respect your opinion on it. It is estimated that about 24,000 bulls are killed in bullfights every year in Spain, with around 30 million people attending the sport anually. So it is not fading away. This is a sport that has been around for hundreds and hundreds of years, and will continue to be part of the true Spanish culture. Viva Espana!

  3. I am from Spain and honestly, I think bullfighting is the shame of my country.

How can torturing and killing a bull be considered a sport?

I hate it and I hope the Spanish goverment does something about it.

  4. I'm also Spanish and I dont' like them either...

  5. today most spaniards are against bullfights. You don't see that many people anymore at the plazas de toro and there's a growing awareness that the killing of bulls must stop. Many plazas were converted in such way so that other activities and spectacles can take place, to compensate for the lower interest in corridas.

It's in part thanks to the many campains kept in major places and cities like Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, etc.... but there's still a long way to go!
