Do you think about the Hotel Majestic in Rome for a romantic stay?

Hello every body,

My fiancée and I are going to be married in May. The wedding will be taking place in London our home town. For the honeymoon, as we have just few days, we are planning to fly to Rome as I think is one of the most beautiful cities in the world and I believe will be a true romantic experience.

As I was looking for something very special I came across the “Romantic package” http://www.rome-hotels-majestic.com/vacation_packages_rome.htm in a luxury hotel, the hotel Majestic, located in via Veneto right in the heart of Rome. I love this hotel as it is centrally located and just few steps from historical sites and museums.

What do you think? Can you give me any suggestions ?

  1. Hi, maybe Via Veneto is quite far away from the real Historic centre of Rome.

I found this hotel on this website, is just 70 meters from Navona Square, and closed to bars and restaurants.

  2. Well TripAdvisor ranked it 77 out of 1139 Rome Hotels and especially recommended it for honeymoons! (I mean, how much sight seeing will you actually want to be doing?????)

    Here's the web site:

Less people impressed with it on expedia--only 77% would recommend it and it rates only a 4.4 out of 5.

This site seems to echo your thoughts about its central location:

We're always on a budget in Rome, but heck! I'd go for this deal! have a wonderful time & baci! baci! baci!

  3. Try Bettoja Massimo D'Azeglio, I don't know about that Hotel particularly, what part of Rome are you going to?

Actually looking at the pictures this place looks nice too. There's plenty to see in Rome, the Colosseum, Vatican, you can just go for walks around the hotel and you will see so much history. Stick with that hotel it looks great.

Tip: Don't let the waiters rip you off, they're always trying to add a few euro onto your bill and if you protest they just speak Italian and pretend they can't comprehend.
