my hair grows slower than it did when i was 1-13 years of age- but i shaved my head bald to get rid of the relaxer- and i have over 6 inches of hair- my hair is a lil below my shoulders when its pressed straight- i permed my hair for 6 years- it was always damaged and fried- maybe the adult hormones are making my hair coarser and growing slower- by 2 1/2 years old my hair was at least to my shoulders in afro- my hair looks like this natural-

and it looked like this when i was 5-

so in like 2 1/2 more years i am wondering if it will get that long-

i've only had my hair natural for 2 1/2 years- and i shaved it completely bald- but still my hair is growing slow- i am used to it growing faster- i have kind of biracial hair-

i make sure my hair isnt dry and wash and condition it weekly-

um- i eat healthy- dont smoke- dont drink- so i dont get it?

  1. your hair is probably growing normally but a watched pot never boils. take a picture of your hair now and three months take another one, then you'll see the growth.
