Question:

Do you think aliens crashed at Roswell?

Think about this: Why did the military give a press release that it was a UFO before retracting the statement and saying it was a weather balloon. If it was a weather balloon it would have been *identifiable* upon contact, there would have only been one press release and no retraction. Even if it was project mogul, saying it was a weather balloon wouldn't have compromise it's secrecy so therefore it must have been a "ufo" of a different nature entirely, and since we can logically concur the first was true then we also can assume they have covered up what really happened, which is up for interpretation.

  1. Now anyone that has done 5 minutes of research know that the balloon story is the real hoax... And yes real aliens were found within that flying disk.............

  2. If you think Roswell is strange rent the movie 'Phoenix Lights".

  3. I don't know, but I can tell you a story that makes me believe something did happen at Roswell.

My uncle retired from the Navy and still uses his perks to fly on their jets.  There is a base in New England somewhere that he refused to go to because that is where he said they took the ship from Roswell.  If he needs to fly somewhere and he would have to lay over at that base, he would drive or wait for another flight instead.

  4. Here are my thoughts: Who is to say that intelligent life didn't start on another planet that is a million years older than us? It is entirely plausible that they be very advanced compared to us (where we are now they would have been 750,000 years ago for example). Why couldn't they have figured out a way to travel throughout the galaxy? Just because we haven't yet figured out how doesn't mean another intelligent race couldn't.

And, considering all the planets our astronomers are discovering, I think it is rather egotistical to think that we would be the only intelligence in the universe.

  5. no way, why usa of all places !! would the best os software be microsfts?? eg windows me from 2001..if we reverse engineered alien technology wed be jumping thousands of years ahead of our technology.

  6. Yes, I do believe this; and I do believe the government has been covering it up ever since it happened.   The government consistently pooh-poohs all reports of possible alien contact.  It's either a weather balloon or some electrical activity in the sky or some kind of reflection from lights on earth ... always some kind of flimsy story designed to make us believe that there's nothing to be afraid of.  I wonder why the government would even think that we should be fearful of visitors from other worlds.  Do we know that they have some evil intent to take over the world?  No.  Could it be that they, like us, are engaged in space exploration?  That sounds reasonable to me.  We Earthlings think we're the only life forms in the vastness of the cosmos.  Where did we ever get such a stupid notion?

  7. Read Philip Corso's "The Day After Roswell". I'm not saying its true, but it does lend some creedence to why the government might cover it up. Namely, capital gains from reverse-engineered alien tech...such as CDs, lasers, integrated circuits and so forth)

  8. Certainly NOT!!!!! No ET's have ever been here, and none will ever be here. Any planet that might have intelligent life is quite distant. No spaceship can travel anywhere near the speed of light, because its inertia becomes infinite at such a speed, and it is squashed flat by the forces involved. The nearest star to the sun is Proxima Centauri. Its light takes 4.3 years to reach us. If it had a planet identical to earth and sent a rocket here at escape velocity, it would take 106,448 years to reach us. PC has no planets, so any rockets would take much longer than the figure given to come here. You say you are being logical. Please study Logic, as I did, before you make such claims. Have you no experience with government bureaucrats? I can tell you true tales about them that make this one seem tame. you do not know the massive amounts of energy involved in the SF solutions you propose. Energy must have a source. You do not realize that. going through wormholes and black holes is fantasy, not science. Bending space and time requires too much matter and energy to be practical. If you do not know the equations, I can show you some. You are wrong to say ET's can come here by using fantasy techniques and ignoring science. Stick to writing tales for "Fantasy & Science Fiction" magazine and leave real science to those of us who know the difference. Roswell has been refuted many times, so you are wasting your time trying to prop up a pet belief with fantasy.
