Do you think aliens exist?

i don't

I was thinking yesterday about the distances involved in travelling between stars. I think most people don't understand how far away stars are from each other. So I did some math in my head:

The nearest know star away from the sun is 4.5 light years away, a light year being the distance light travels in a year. multiply by 365.25 and you find that the star is 1643 light days away ( a light day is the amount of distance light travels in a day).

The result? If you somehow came up with an advanced technology that let you travel *1000* times the speed of light, you'd need to travel that fast for more than a day and a half to get to the next nearest star.

plus, if aliens had the technology to travel that fast, then their UFO's would certainly not be so vulnerable and fall so easily on some Kansas farm or in some other place. their UFO's would probably be bullet-proof, bomb proof, and it would NEVER crash.

if aliens had the technology to visit earth from far away, don't you think they would be doing more than just observing us?

people claim that the government is trying to cover up all alien incidents.

that's just like saying our government, with limited technology, is trying to cover up something ten times the size of the sun mentally.

if aliens had that technology, there's no need to observe humans. they don't have to worry about humans discovering them because they have technology 1000x better than ours right? plus, why would they want to learn more about us and our technology if they are more advanced in every single way?

do you know how there are radical human beings who step out of line and do somethign stupid?

well aliens could do that too

imagine an alien in his spaceship acting stupid and flying all around the world and exposing himself just for the heck of it. then everyone would know

certainly if aliens were real there must be billions of them. if they were real, i certainly don't believe they would be so disciplined and NEVER step out of line.

all in all, i believe that the concept of aliens was created by the U.S. government to keep the minds of idiotic americans occupied by a stupid conspiracy theory.

  1. I'm just speaking for me when say I believe in aliens. Why not make it a possibility? It could be possible. There could be aliens as advanced as you say they are, or, they could be primitive beasts that we couldn't know about until we or they were that advanced. Or there could be a species on another planet as advanced as us or just like us. Heck, you could call a version of yourself from an alternate dimension an alien. (If you don't believe there are other dimensions start reading about the STRING THEORY)

  2. If Extra Terrestrials exist and are observing us, their reasons are many. I'll list a few

    1. Comparing how advanced they are, if that is actually true, to how behind we as 'humans' are.

    2. Observing what differences we may have, if any.

    3. Curious to our style(s) of living.

    And many more.

If they are not observing us and the U.S. Government is actually denying any communication they have had with them over the years, then what knowledge could the Government have possibly learned? After all, our technology is not that far ahead. Sure, it has come a long way, but it is not what many thought it could/would/should be (or have been).

I'm sure these so-called 'Aliens', not saying I do not believe in them, are probably sharing a laugh or two. That is, if the Government's claims and disclaims of communication amuse them.

I wonder how much they know about us anyway...

    (If they ARE watching...)

  3. Well i think there are aliens, because there have been so many sightings. Another reason is crop circles, some of them, humans made but others are so difficult that humans cant have made them. And think about it, outer space is a vast place there might now be aliens in our solar system but maybe on the other side of our Galaxy or in another galaxy. The universe is a vast and extremely large place. There's bound to be life somewhere else out there.  I also want to share something else. One of Saturn's moons, Enceladus, has liquid water on it in the center, and some scientists and me believe that there is life in there, like fish. Another thing is that there may be the same creatures there as the creatures we have on the bottom of our ocean. Since those creatures exist in space and not on earth, they can be considered aliens. There might even be intelligent life in space and that life might be the ones who left crop circles or they might be the ones that visited earth.

  4. Well, if there are aliens, there could be stupid aliens with no IQ whatsoever. Not all aliens have to be Einstein x1000. I think aliens to exist somewhere in this crazy universe. If you've ever seen the movie Contact with Jodie Foster they say "If it's just us, then it's an awful waste of space".

  5. Well, you make some good points.

But since there are approximately a hundred billion stars in any given galaxy and a hundred billion galaxy's in the observable universe, there must be some rock out there that is close enough to one of the stars to sustain life.  After all that's all earth is, right?

Now despite how sophisticated there technology may be, it's very hard to predict changes in differential atmospheric pressure which may lead to ship failure and a crash in a field in Kansas.

I'm not sure what you mean by "they would be doing more than just observing us," but if your implying that they would destroy us the moment they see us, that doesn't make much sense.  Think about it, we're much smarter than dogs, but we're not going to bring the whole species to extermination.

And if aliens made it to earth, that doesn't mean that every alien has a spaceship and we're going to see billions of them.  The U.S. made it to the moon, but I don't have a spaceship.

  6. In the novel "Earth" by David Brin a unique solution to the Fermi Paradox is offered.  A technologically advanced culture understands "highlander-style" that there "can be only one".  In the far future any existing races will come into conflict for the last remaining resources of the Galaxy.  If they wipe out every civilization that makes the mistake of broadcasting its existence, the final battle is decided before it is ever fought.  All competition is destroyed while they are easy targets.

If this is the case we should already be dead.  There aren't any aliens that can get here.  And we will never know if the exist at all.

  7. First you need to review some accurate information on this subject - I recomend the following:

    http://www.futureofmankind.co.uk/Billy_M...

    (also www.figu.org [English Discussion Board])

I have only researched this information for the past 5 years, downloading everything I can about it - documentaries, videos, MP3 audio files, pdfs and text files, etc etc.

There is a great deal of information here, that covers a wide variety of subjects - which I find to be reliable.

    Conspiracies do exist.

The US government is not to be trusted - the Bush administration explanation about 9-11 highlights this.  The details of 9-11 do not match up with the Bush administration explanation - the facts and figures do not agree with what the Bush administration says.  Read anything by Dr Ray Griffin on this subject - he has excellent summaries, and appears in various documentaries which point out the glaring inconsistancies - eg. Why did WTC7 fall down?  It was not hit by a plane, had only fire in it, yet it fell the same way as how the Twin Towers fell. Note - the way the Twin Towers fell is characteristic of a controlled demolition, using high explosives - the fast rate of fall, fell on it's own footprint, with the billowing dust cloud afterwards.  These are not characteristic of a building brought down by a fire.

Watch the 1987 documentaries "The Secret Government" Consitution in Crisis - hosted by Bill Moyers and "The Secret Heartbeat of America - the Mena Story" - while these highlight the 1985 Oliver North Irain-Contra fiasco under Reagan, they illustrate what led to 9-11, and also to the Vietnam War.  How secret CIA activities are involved and the secret agenda of the US.

This actually goes all the way back to Pearl Harbour - the Billy Meier / Plejaren information says that Pearl Harbour was allowed to happen, because then they knew they could atom bomb Japan later, with no guilt.

The technology of intergalactic space travel is covered in the Plejaren material - and a great deal more.  They will not discuss in detail about Roswell, but they do talk around it somewhat.

We will always have confirmation about the Plejaren information, as time goes by ... See the "Let's Talk Paranormal" programmes in which Michael Horn presents the Meier information, etc over 2 programmes.  Also there is the DVD "The Silent Revolution of Truth" which is an excellent introduction - with the evidence/proof presented on the DVD.  This information is at various sites around the Internet.

Oh, I have spent 30+ years looking at this kind of material, all along - and so, my recomendations are worthwhile for anyone wanting the truth about this confusing subject.  We are purposefully lied to --- which explains the inconsistancies....

  8. Of course there are no aliens.

The best and only reasonable solution to the Fermi Paradox is that we are the ONLY show in the town: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fermi_parad...

The craft are all of human orign... just New World Vehicles for the manipulation of the masses and setting up the brutal empire soon.

But for those that just HAVE to believe in ETs and UFOs, they have something special in store for you. Google/youtube: "Project Bluebeam"

Type III 'aliens' just in time for 2012! Many will be fooled...

Later, ask yourself how we knew in advance.

  9. all of your points have convinced me that no.there are no aliens.

you made some good points there.

  10. Aliens is a broad term. I think of course there is "life" on another planet. all that is needed for "life" is dirt, water, air, and warmth. And even that is variable. We've found life living in the coldest parts of antarctica, and we've found coral growths and other critters living in and near underwater lava fissures (temp over 400F). So while I'm also pretty sure there aren't super intelligent beings that travel millions of miles to look at our stupid world, I find it hard to believe there isn't a mudball with a moldy rock and possibly some critters that eat the mold floating around somewhere out there. And I think if we did discover a planet with low-level life on it, I don't think it would be a big deal. It would be pretty neat but it doesn't change anything for 99% of the world.

Now, if we found out that the grays have been secretly harvesting our titanium and uranium, that's something!

  11. Ugh these "ALIEN" questions are asked here everyday

    100000000000000000000000 times!

NO THERE ARE NO ALIENS NOR FLYING SAUCERS!

    THEY ARE GOVERNMENT CRAFT!
