Do you think all dreams are a reflection of your life?

Question

like when you know things in real life, that you didn't learn. how did you know them? i think its possible you learned them from your dreams.

its like meeting people that you recognize, but have never seen before.

I don't think dreams are anything special, beyond the obvious. Lets get the obvious out of the way... dreams are amazing because you are inside your own head. The fact that the brain can simulate reality so convincingly really intrigues me. Dreams are also an engine of creativity. I have yet to come up with the theory of relativity in mine, but i'm working on it :D.

I have never known something that i did not learn. Sure i have put two and two together and got hamburgers out of apples and oranges. And maybe i had done this in a dream. But a dream is simply your brain filtering through our short term memory and remembering things worth the most. The brain remembers things best as references and experiences, so that is why it needs to bring them up to transfer them into long term memory.

I believe that dreams are a mind's exercises in imagination and have nothing to do with reality.

They might be, before Abe Linclon was killed some people believe he had a dream that he was killed... but we don't really know for sure. I don't believe dreams are "reflections" but more like hints to help us through our everyday lives.

Dreams are just the imagination being overactive while you are in suspended animation. nothing really matters

i think dreams are just thoughts in your sleep.

you could be thinking about something that doesn't affect you at all what so ever whenn you're awake. why not asleep?

so my answer is no.

and as for people who "see the future"-that's bull.

you can see what's obviously going to happen next.
