Do you think all the other allied nations are as competitive in sport as USA,Aus,GB,Canada and NZ?

We are strong allies when it comes to war but when it comes to sport there is certainly no love lost.

Do those on the other side of us (for example Iran and Iraq) want to beat their allies like our countries do?

If so why do you think this is?
