Do you think all the s*x and violence on t.v., internet, and video games influences are teens?

I'm not asking if seeing violence makes anyone kill someone or commit violence. I am merely asking if you think it has an influence on the decision to commit violence.

no! when i was a teenager we didn't have TV, Internet, or videos,  but we did go to the movies to see Roy Rodgers, gun fight at the OK coral   you know what i mean, Davey Crockett , we would reinact the movie using wooden guns and home made bow and arrows.

my god the killing that went on then was horrific,  and i think there was less  killings and murders then, perhaps there was more petty robberies. will point out i have never been in trouble with the law

I think the lack of parenting is why teens are the way they are.

No I dont think TV makes teenagers decide go and do things they wouldnt normally do like commit a violent crime, because after my teenagers have watched a cookery program they dont make a conscious decision to rush into the kitchen and make a cake.

No, not at all.  I'm a perfect example.  I play some of the most violent games, enjoy violent movies, and read violent material.   And yet, I'm a very peaceful person that would never be violent myself unless it was the only choice.

Having been a teenager myself, until not so very long ago (!), I can confidently say that reality is the other way around :

It is the teens who influence 'all the s*x and violence on TV, Internet, and video games' - by their attitudes.

About as much as "new ads for hi tech gadgets and video games".  

Opponents claim that TV does not influence children.

I guess that businesses don't realize that their advertising dollars on TV are wasted.

nope i like watching gun, kiling films etc...but there only movies, im not stupid enough to do any of it for real and i wouldnt want to either.

Im 16 btw without ever steeling or committing a crime.
