No, not all. I do agree that it's overrated and it just doesn't taste good. It's nothing like Walmart; not even in the same category.

According to today's newspaper they are laying off lots of people and closing 600 of their2600 stores. It is their desperate move to keep from going out of business. They are also offering a cheap cup of coffee tasting and costing like a Dunkin Donuts regular. If that doesn't work for them they are doomed.

I mean if you are odering a Double MochaChino, extra foam, light, skin milk etc etrc, you may need to be put away for a "rest"

i think they've already lost some of their luster! especially now when gas prices are so high that we're cutting out extravagances and a $5,00 dollar cup of coffee is definitely on that list! but they(starbucks) were shrewed in supplying one of the "acceptable"addictive drugs -caffeine!

I don't think its like Wal-mart. And Wal-mart by the way is going under eventually. I predict in the near 5-10 years. But I agree Starbucks is way overrated. I don't like their coffee at all!!!! I used to work for a coffee business but I quit and later went and applied to Starbucks and they refused to hire me cause I had already worked for a coffee company and they feared I would steal their ideas. What jerks!!!! And plus they over roast their coffee is taste so burnt its disgusting. The best coffee places are those down to earth businesses. If Starbucks went away I wouldn't care at all. Plus your right it's just coffee and it's not very good at all. But Starbucks isn't like Wal-mart. Wal-mart is the worst store ever. Don't shop there. They discriminate and don't care about anything but money. And they make a lot!!!!!! Don't you wonder how the h**l they are able to sell at low prices it's cause they buy at low prices. And some products they buy they only buy for like 3 cents per unit. Don't shop there if you care about the future of America.

I love coffee. Starbucks is kind of like Walmart. If it goes out of business it will be years and years from now. However, I did hear about Starbucks cutting about 16,000 jobs.
