  1. I believe most Moms (regardless of pregnancy or adoption) have "googly eyes" with new babies.

  2. I find googly eyes to be comforting and welcoming. I want googly eyes. Some kids do even get to look into someone's eyes

  3. Blah Blah Blah Blah.     I would say NO.

Lazy eyes and googly eyes and you have crazy eyes 00.

Awwwwe your so hateful, that's cute!

  4. Independant, you deserve a gold star for the best comic relief in adoptoland.

You've had two questions today that had me laughing until I cried....indulge your gift of satire, it is a blessing!

  5. When I adopted my son, he was just under 8 months old.  He did not speak at that age, but all he knew was Spanish; me English and some important key words in Spanish.  He was visibly very confused but I don't think he had trouble concentrating.

He was the only talking baby in his daycare school infant room, (YES- I got compliments all the time on his language skills) and he has not stopped talking since.  He as speaking on sentence format at 1 year old.

    Does that answer your question?

Oh and PS- babies handle the much transition better than older children.

  6. what does googly eyes mean?  Babies dont care what people look like.

  7. Were your parents brother and sister?

    Seriously.

ETA: No one believes it's a general question. No one but you is that much of a moron.

  8. Actually, baby talk and cooing and such are a universal language.  All babies are comforted by it.  The elongation of vowels and whatnot.  I saw it on the Discovery Health channel show about babies.  So there.

  9. So, you're now taking personal shots?  Pretty low.

  10. I'm seeing fireworks. Mean ones. Has the 4th of July celebration started early this year?

  11. No.  That's insulting to people with googly eyes!

  12. i think an adoptive mother would always comfuse a baby or small child.  it's not natural.
