No animal (including humans) has a soul: no such thing exists.  All the properties of one's persona are a function of the chemical and electrical properties of the organism's materials, and nothing else.

  Certainly animals have souls.. all living creatures have souls.. Man's purpose in life is different than animals which is why we are able to think and reason.  .It is sad that  we are not better at it.  .God bless

No, they don't have souls any more than we do. They are "living souls" just like we are.  As to wether they have a "spirit" component like we do, it is hard to say. It was even debated by the wise Solomon ( Ecc. 3:21).  As for my personal opinion though, regardless of the point of wether they have a spirit or not, I know that God is a God of love, and if he has the power to bring billions of humans back to life, with the same memories that they had before, and since he has prepared a future so wonderful that the mind of man cannot even guess at how wonderful ( 1 Cor. 2:9), I fully expect to see my long dead pets once again! ( and that's just what I can imagine! wow!) Thanks for asking.
