  1. Probably not.

Your basic desire is flawed, anyway.  I can't speak for elsewhere, but in Minnesota, if it weren't for deer hunting, the deer would overpopulate, then over-forage and starve in the winter.

Would you consider this an improvement?

The reason: basically there aren't enough natural predators (wolves) to maintain a stable deer population.

  2. That will never happen. Man has to eat something and that something is other animals.

  3. Is this a serious question or sarcasm (the "snarf" reminds me of Pinky and the Brain, so I am not quite sure)

You are right that animals should not be killed for material things like clothing now a days. Thousands of years ago, for example, buffalo/bison were killed for clothing, but every single part of that animal was used. The meat for eating, the bones for tools, the fur for warmth, etc. Now, we do not need to kill animals for clothing, or tools. But food...

Yes we need meat to eat. Some people over do it, but we do need meat to survive. I understand alot of the animals bred for meet are not kept in very good condition at all, and become sick, die sooner then they should, etc. But it is a fact of life, animals eat animals. We are mammals, are we not? Lions don't see a zebra and think "hmm... naah! Maybe I will just eat some of these lovely leaves over here instead".

I am saddened that there are poor conditions for animals, (trust me, I have seen my share of on-sided peta videos and animal rights videos) and not all of the animal is used as it once was, but I am still an omnivore.

I would rather eat a piece of chicken or a steak for my protein rather then be subject to the chemicals and weird science in tofu.

By the way, I have tons of vegan (not just vegetarian) friends and we get along great. They know what I like and where I stand and I know and understand their views perfectly

  4. Question.

How expensive is the 'crack' you're smoking?

  5. No , I say as I enjoy a big bite from my Big Juicy Hamburger while I set on my Leather Chair and think about making my Dog Go Out and Fetch the News Paper.  lqtms

  6. im sorry to say but no

  7. God, I hope not.

Someone's been watching too much Thundercats.

  8. WE WILL BE OVER RUN WITH RABBITS.

    RABBITS EVERYWHERE.

  9. Well, if your definition of slavery is pet ownership, no.

There isn't anything wrong with zoos, we've revived many species that otherwise would have been extinct. Including Gorillas, Eagles, Wolves, Pandas, and many more.

You shouldn't listen to what Ingrid Michaelson (CEO of PETA) says. She's a hypocrite, and a big one at that.

The genocide of animals is due to the irresponsibility of humans. If we'd take better care of our beloved pets, we wouldn't have trillions of animals in shelters, rescues, and being put down daily because no one came for them in time.

Your solution of vegetarianism doesn't make sense, because the cows that are required to make the milk and cheese that you'd still be enjoying would still be in chains in a milking factory.

I do agree with getting rid of furs and leathers, thats just pointless in its own way. Why would you want to wear skin?

If we allow animals to live freely on earth, we'd end up killing more of them than we already do. Could you imagine if we cut off all forestry boundaries in one day, and two months later, you'd have hundreds of dead wildlife, house pets, etc laying on the side of the road.

There isn't anything wrong with hunting, as long as its for the right reasons. Trophy hunting is cruel, inhumane, barbaric, and horrible. But if your hunting for game that you're actually going to consume, and you actually do use each and every part of the animal for something, then its alright.

We keep the population in check because there is an imbalance of predator to predatee.

    You can't save everyone.

I love animals more than people, but that idea will never work, plus its hypocritical.

  10. Yes.  Of course.

Many of our practices are grotesque and we will surely "reap what we sow."

May be sooner than anyone can imagine...

  11. probably.

    I hope wild animals won't

can you imagine a world where wild animals were freed.

  12. Um, No.

    Snarf Snarf!!

If left unchecked, the herbivores would consume all the vegetation and then we'd all starve. Unfortunately, eating animals is part of the natural cycle.

  13. I like eating animals. Dead ones of course. snarf.

  14. depends

  15. if only we could say so.

      its not that easy though....

those humans think they're doing the right thing because thats the way they were taught.

i personaly dont like zoos. 1. they smell.

    2. i wouldnt want to be locked in a cage all day watching stupid little kids make faces at me....

however, im not a veggy-person. i happen to love meat.

  16. I don't think becoming a vegetarian is the only way out of this situation. Man is selfish and doesn't care about all other forms of life he shares the planet with. As long as man doesn't accept this I'm afraid animals will continue to suffer from our ignorance. The least we can do is act. There are many ways we can eliminate animal slavery..

  17. no, don't be silly. we eat meat and lots of it. its natural

  18. i don't know about no more zoos ,we need to keep dangerous animals like lions and tigers and giant snakes away from our children and backyards but as far as deer horses cows ect....... i hope so
