Do you think any rules should be changed in the NHL, if so why?

i think the old time style of hockey was the way the game was meant to be played not to where the goalie cant go out of the trapezoid before you know it he wont be able to go out of the crease what caused this rule? and the interference calls are getting out of hand. there are just way too many things now that a player can get called for interference, even when there is a small bump i have seen it called. besides that i think the game is fine. i like the touch up offsides, and their doing away with the two line pass but there can be some cretiques here and there.

Get rid of the trapezoid and most of the other rules are more about clarifying them. We need STANDARDS rather then the refs just making it up on the fly. You see one call something and then not call it later IN THE SAME GAME. Sure that is a general thing as well, but because some of them are so objective it doesn't make them look as bad.

get rid of the trapezoid, continuous ot in regular season, different point system, 3 points cant be handed out in some games and 2 in others

The incidental "stick wave or hook". It's too much when someone inadvertantly gets the blade of his stick in/under someone's arm and they hold it for the obstruction hook call etc. Obstruction in general is also badly called. Whatever happened to using your speed and skill to get away skate away from a player? If he is impeeded so much than call the hook. Throw out that c**p called Obstruction. Check that goaltender interference also.

They really need to sit down and determine what is and what is not goalie interference.  There were too many calls that should not have been made this year and a handful of goals (all against Thomas Holmstrom, it seems) disallowed by phantom interference calls.

More consistent penalty calling. Maybe they need to make some rules clearer, especially golaie interference.

No more 3 point games-or work it out so that 3 points are always awarded in every game. An OT win is not the same as a regulation win!

No I like all the rules as they are even the controvercial ones like touch icing, I'm all for it.  The only rules I'd want to see changed is to maybe up the amount of video replay for penalties, but I don't know how they could do that without slowing the game down.
