  1. No.  Rules aside, you are still growing in the Freshman/Sophomore year of college.  Assuming someone had the talent, they still would need a few years to finish physically growing.  Also, the game in the NFL is considerably faster than in college, which is why so many high picks wash out, it's light years faster than anything you could see in high school.

There was that 19 year old that played for Louisville that was drafted, I think, this year.  Even there, he was exposed to the regimen of college.  The NFL is a job and is the main focus once you get there.  I just can't see a high school kid, even one that is immensely talented, having the discipline to play in the NFL.

If it would happen, it would probably be a receiver.  But even there, getting off blocks and the like are things you have to learn and is considerably more difficult than in high school.  I can't see a lineman being big enough.  A quarterback would need maturity.  I doubt the NFL even scouts qbs at the high school level because there are so many variables that can happen (they are "aware" of running backs and receivers at the high school level, see Willie Parker, who the Steelers saw in high school and, based on that, took a chance on him despite his never playing at North Carolina).

  2. By NFL rules it can't happen.  It would be a terrible idea.  A high school football player, even a stud, would physically never match up to NFL players

  3. NO WAY! lol

  4. no

  5. Nope basketball and baseball all ready allow that plus they can leave college at any time ...and i hope football does the opposite and lets them get drafted when there a junior or senior in college

  6. Nope not going to happen not never not no how

  7. No. Look at Reggie Bush. He didnt jump from high school to the NFL, but he underestimated how fast nearly every guy in every position was and thought he could still outrun everybody like in college. He has shown he cant.

  8. no.First because of the rules.Second the step from high school to pro in football is amazing.Nothing like basketball,or football. The speed and strength of the game is ridiculous. The step from high school to college is amazing.the worst player in pro was a stud in college.

  9. Adrian Peterson tried,  and we saw Clarrett and Williams try after their second year of college.   The NFL will never budge, their operation is too much of a well oiled machine to let kids do that.
