Do you think anyone will truly be effected by the all digital television conversion?

I don't think I know anyone who doesn't have cable. A lot of people are confused about this and think if they don't have a HD television they won't have access to cable... ie my grandmother. I wish those commercials would be more specific as to who this will effect.

The digital television conversion affects the local channels only.  It will have no effect on cable or satellite service.  If you want to watch your local channels with an antenna you'll need a digital converter box or a new digital TV.  Otherwise you won't notice anything different.
