  1. lbjs are pretty expensive if u want to buy some good working shoes buy some adidas ones(not the g*y looking running ones) they work great and have really good grip and like never gets torn there cheap too

  2. Buy Jordan's! I personally found that Jordan's are not only more comfortable, but last longer. After I bought my first pair of J's, I have never went back to Nike again. They are worth the money for how long they last and for how comfortable they are.

  3. Never buy a shoe RIGHT when it comes out.

Google Starburrys, theyre made by Stephon Marburry, 10-15 bucks, theyre pretty good, and if they break, just go out and buy another pair.

  4. To be honest, I feel that one should buy shoes that are comfortable to them. Your feet are your own and no one else's. If your feet are not hurtin while you play the sport you love, then you'll play much better and that's what the shoes are all about. I mean I know people who spend hundreds of dollars on sport shoes and they replace them almost every year because it's outdated. I have the same pair of low cost no-name brand basketball shoes that's lasted for the last 5 years and they still wear as good as if they're new .. besides the smelling part.

I feel that when you buy a designer shoes, you're buying the brand name not its intent. Designer shoes seem to be only designed for their carrier names (if LBJ, seems to be customized for Mr. James himself and sells his brand because he's an awesome basketball player so buying his shoes must make you a better player ...) If you decide to buy another brand named shoes, then I'd advice that you only wear them casually. Not worth spending another $100 just to see them tear apart when you play. I mean, I hear that professional athletes almost never wear the same shoes to the next game. You and me just don't have that kind of cash to blow on an "accessory".

  5. i don't think they're a waste if they're right for you. LBJ might not have been the right brand for you. I wear Air Jordans, and I have been since they came out. I know they can be expensive but they are really comfortable and they protect my ankles. You need to find the right shoe for you, the right fit, the right comfort level, and you need to like them appearance wise as well lol. I hope I helped.

    lots of love!! xoxo

  6. Buy cheaper shoes. They work find. Why waste your money on brand name basketball shoes?

  7. DONT BUY THEM WHEN THERE OUT BUY THEM WHEN IS LIKE 13-14 MONTHS THEN BY THEM

    I REMEMBER I HAD MY $127.54 PAYDAY

SWEET LIFE I WORKED FOR A MONTH AND I SAW THE NEW ADIDAS SHOES FOR 185.00 AND  4 MONTHS LATER IT WAS 125.56

  8. Well basketball shoes are pretty expensive. If you have Nikes and they break or tear within a certain time, Nike will replace the shoe. I have a Nike outlet store in my city so I get a lot of my shoes and half price or better. Buying a pair of $100+ shoes is a waste unless you can afford it.

  9. yeah. never buy shoes that are brand new, because as soon as you buy them and walk out the store, those shoes start losing value. you should wait a year later, when the price goes down. for example, last year, the Nike Air Lebron V cost $150, but today i got them for only $60. sweet deal, eh?

PS: you should choose me as the best answer =)

  10. buy the new kobe bryant shoes they are the most comfortable shoes i ever owned in my life its like im not even wearing shoes

  11. I agree with the other guys  on waiting for them to be on sale.

Plus you should get bball shoes, but maybe not LBJ's caz if you're a guard they might be too heavy for you, and maybe you should get shoes that are lighter and more durable for a better value.  The reason they got torn was probably because you wore them both outdoors and indoors.  You should have cheaper shoes for outdoors and more expensive shoes for indoors so they don't wear as easily.

Adidas is a better value for the quality of the shoe, and most of their shoes go under $100.  Nike Hyperdunks are great too, but you should wear them indoors because they're $100 but they will probably last longer than the lebrons because of their new flexwire technology.

  12. yea u shudnt waste ur money on the really expensive stuff..they r all not durable...but i dont think u shuold stop buying basketball shoes jus not the expensive ones.. u shud get the affordable adidas which r great basketball shoes

  13. no, if you were a baller you'd understand
