Do you think being a cheerful person = childish?

I am a very cheerful kind of person, most of the time i did not speak seriously unless i m on a discussion. but when i am trying to create a happy mood.. which somwhow lead to some of the people i know comments that it is childish. but i was just trying to be friendly after all. cant be i have to be that serious most of the time to show that yeah i am mature.

  1. Cheerful helps lighten up the childish in everyone else.  Stay cheery, works for me.  And really what atmosphere cannot use a bit more cheer?  Take care  :)


  2. Of course not. Being cheerful is a good thing, you have a positive outlook on life. Childish is kind of the same thing as being immature, and being cheerful is not immature at all!

    yeah, the kids are.

    so keep your youth- there will be a time when those people who called you childish will be envying you for that very same quality.

    but a person can be both cheerful and mature. that's actually a very good combination.
