Do you think betting on parlays are dumb?

No, sometimes you can make a lot of money that way.  What's dumb is to bet only on parlays and exotics and never straight win and never collect any money when you had the first two race winners but missed the third.

not at all, although most tracks have a larger takeout for the exotic wadges.

It's not dumb but rather a matter of choice, however the wins are usually far and few between, albeit good returns for small investments though.

they are great when you hit one; however over the long run when you tab your results meaning ROI (RETURN ON INVESTMENY)you will see no value there!

dum no because they are fun when you hit like a 10 teamer for 10k!

I bet them for the minimum on races that I really don't like so I can still watch them.
