  1. Don’t give the liberals any ideas. They might classify the dinosaurs as endangered species.

  2. A fossil fuel by any other name still costs money.

  3. It IS limited, whether you call it fossil fuel or not.   Oil is not a renewable resource.

Where do you think it comes from?

  4. You're right, "fossil fuel" is a misnomer since there's lots more oil than there were dinosaurs.

The price is due to "supply & demand."   The demand has gone way up due to the Chinese and India people buying so many millions of cars.

There's actually plenty of supply, but the restrictions make it very difficult to extract from inside the US.  We have reserves in excess of 500 billion barrels in the midwest.  As soon as the environmentalists let us get the oil the prices will start going down.

So bug Congress as much as you can to let us drill.

Also the new "global warming" taxes that will go into place soon will raise the price of gas another few dollars a gallon.  Expect $7 a gallon gas just because of the "carbon taxes."

  5. No. I think 500 million Chinese having enough money for the first time ever to buy a car are actually buying cars and gas. The Chinese are buying up every drop of extra gas in the world. You don't want $5/Gal gas? No problem, China does. Nobody is forcing you to buy it. If you think it is over priced, don't buy it! Nobody will sell it in America for $3 when they can easily sell it in China for $5. Or even in England at $7/Gal.

  6. They are gonna turn greenhouse gas back into gasoline.
