Let's see now.  Less than 5% of Canadians have had to foreclose on their houses.  Less than 10% have had to declare bankruptcy and less than 15% are on welfare(social assistance).  In the last 9 years Canada has had a surplus each year in the tens of billions.  Nope, we are not freeloaders.

How are Canadians freeloaders? They work and pay taxes too. Their "free" health care isn't actually free, their taxes pay for it. I'm American and I know better than that. I just hope you're joking and you don't actually think like that. You should do some research before you go around  saying nonsense like that.

Not at all! And I do hope that this is not what they think of Americans...I do think that there are great differences between Canadians and Americans, but generally, I do think Canadians work as hard as they can towards the right.

Us Canadians? Freeloader? nah, dont think so. We all work hard here.. We get taxed heavily up here, but we still get free health care and my taxes go to funding schools and colleges, but hey I take it that your an American to be asking this question? eh? well... how about you guys finish up you guys left off in Afghanistan, instead of Canada having to clean it up.
