I just heard on Talk Soup that one of those Cardashian*sp* girls got 30 days for a DUI and then actually served like 3or4 hours and it was considered time served. How is that fair? How did that teach her a lesson?

  1. they should get the same treatment.  it just isnt fair that they get less sentences.  it seems they repeat more because of it also.  it sux and isnt fair, the only lesson learned is to do it again so you can get away with it

  2. It's no wonder they all think and act like they are better then we are! We let them and treat them like they are. I say we need to make examples of them and let common folks know that the law is the law and EVERYONE has to follow it!

  3. Of  course they should be treated like the common people, it's only fair. They are just like us, a human being.

In my opinion, I believe there was money involved with the sentencing, you know under the table payments. Celebrities got the money and money equals power.

  4. In Los Angeles County, where many celebs live and violate the law, the jail facilities are so severely overcrowded that in order to keep pace with basic requirements of jail housing as set forth by the US Supreme Ct et al., absent a specific court order or determined jail sentence, low level offenses, non violent and misdemeanors easily become time served in hours or days for ALL inmates.  Compare and contrast Miss Hilton... who had a specific determined jail time sentence for her probation violation to Miss Kardashian or Miss Nicole Richie.

  5. Well to begin w/ its not 'Talk Soup', its 'The Soup'. Joel McHale called out Wendy Williams on that the other day. And yeah, celebs should get the same treatment as normal people, but they don't becaue they're "special." A normal person would be serving a few years if they did the same things that Lindsay Lohan or Nicole Riche did.

  6. i personally think its all bull**** and the celebrities should get the same punishments we do .. s***w the system

  7. the law makes no provisions for rich or poor. everyone is supposed to be treated the same under the law.not all cases require long stays in jail.your lawyer could have made your bond and all you will do is walk thru the motions in just a few hours.
