  1. It seems that people who are too dumb to walk and chew gum at the time are driving and talking on the phone. These dummies should get a special ticket for "driving with their heads up their asses" for forgeting why they were in the car in the first place.

  2. NO! that's like fat people blaming Mc Donnalds.

God gave you a brain. USE IT!

  3. No. What if you are a passenger on a bus or train or even in a car? You wouldn't be able to use your cell phone. Cell phones don't kill people, people kill people.

  4. Absolutely not.  Personal responsibility by the user is the only way to ensure any measure of safety.

The motion requirement would be a technological nightmare and drive up the price of new phones exponentially.

  5. An absolutely terrible idea to make the manufacturer of an item responsible for it's end use. Should Budweiser be responsible if you're hit by a drunk driver? Of course not.

  6. Why?  It's your choice to use it or not.  Simply don't use it.  Why should it be someone else's responsibility.

  7. No.  Not their fault you don't read and follow the manual that states you shouldn't use while driving and don't drive while distracted.

I think that those who are in an accident while talking on a cell phone should be held accountable and that they should have to pay for everything.  Their insurance companies should not have to pay either.

  8. If they were then you would have to hold accountable cigarette companies for people who smoke while driving, and fast food rest. for people who eat when they drive, etc. You can't hold a company responsible for people's stupidity and carelessness.

  9. Trying to "legislate" intelligence is a bad idea. People need to be held responsible for their own actions.

  10. NOPE...................

  11. NO! And that is really a stupid idea.

  12. No, it's the cell phone user's fault.  The user knows that he is taking a risk when driving and talking on a cell phone.

If cell phone companies were liable for every accident caused by a cell phone, none of us would have cell phones today because the companies would go out of business due to the lawsuits.

  13. No, they provide hands free accessories.
