  1. Actually, yes they will. I used to own quails and a good way to give them calcium is to take their infertile eggs, hard boil them and mash them with their shells on until it turns into a paste. They loved it when I fed it to them. Chickens will do the same.

  2. Yes chicken will eat there eggs and even cooked chicken meat, I strongly suggest not feeding it to them though.

  3. They eat there own egg shells! I've seen that myself. Mamaw use to have chickens (long long time ago), anyway she would save scraps and the shells were one of the things she saved. She just threw them out in the chicken pen they ate them!

  4. cooked egg is an excellent source of both protein & calcium for poultry more so for growing chicks & turkey poults which have a high demand for these food sources.Being practical , poultry farmers will use infertile or substandard eggs for this purpose putting unmarketable eggs to good use .

  5. Chickens will eat their own cooked eggs, their own raw eggs, other chickens eggs, other chickens.   Oh face it, chickens will eat anything they can get their beaks on.  And it won't hurt a chicken to feed it cooked chicken, or any other meat.  They are omnivores.  They hunt and scavenge as well as eat vegetation.

  6. Yes, they will. They will eat just about everything! I have a handful in my yeard!!!!
