  1. Yes, once they have sobered up AFTER a night in the cells, they should make them go back out on the streets with the street cleaners and help clear any pools of vomit etc. Every weekend for 2-3 months as punishment.

But then there will be others.

  2. peoiple will just find it hilarious. the govt. will never impose any penalties that will actually deter people from anything.. because that might be a breach of their oh-so-precious human rights.

they should be made to eat it.

  3. there isn't a hope they will do it when they are drunk. it will just cause more fights.

either make them do it one or two mornings of the week and help the cleaners, or give them a verrrrry big fine.

    their choice!

humiliation when sober is worse. they'll remember that in the morning!!

  4. On the spot fines followed by community service cleaning up in broad daylight when they are sober should do the trick.

  5. They're too piddled to clean up properly.. A slap with the mop would make them wake up sore next morning..

  6. Always hit someone seems the policy of councils, Just how many public conveniences does that council have that are open around the time these people would be wanting them! Someone should ask that before putting forward such a notion really.

I doubt the Daily Mail would think of such practical things as that really. Maybe they should try and find out just now many public conveniences are open at two in the morning around Britain before they go. "Must have people clean up their mess?" Just maybe most of these people would have used a public convience if there was one around at the time that was open?

must say I saw once a reporter from the Daily Mail urinating against a wall. So are they going to fire him for doing that when he was in College.

  7. Anything is worth a try to stop the disgusting behaviour of some. Why should someone else have to clean their mess? I think after they have well and truly sobered up they should be returned to the scene and made to do it there and then. Can't beat public humiliation to make people think twice...

  8. they will become so depressed doing that, that they right away will hit the bottle again.

  9. This looks like it could end up in mop and bucket fights.!!!

  10. silly idea

people would be too drunk to clean up and may use the equipment to attack people  ridiculous

  11. That was an idea from bible: Asking drunker to rebuild a city.

Perhaps, those drunker should be sent to Iraq to rebuild cities there.
