Not at all. I think it is a great idea to have a game played 60 days after the last game of the regular season to deterimine the champion.

Name four teams, have them play off on the New Year's Day games. Take the winners, and put them in the BCS Championship game a week later.

No one would miss school in December, and you'd make a ton of money.

keep the bowl games and have the top 4 in the bcs have a playoff.

i think so too. i think they should have the conference champions each year have a playoff with the last 2 teams playing for the NC. or maybe even the teams that make a BCS bowl should play their bowl game and the winner movin on to the next round until your down to 2 teams. at the least put in a plus one system. i especially think a playoff is needed since my team (auburn) got snubbed in 2004 after going 13-0. this would help with the contraversy but still you would have ppl complaining bout their team not getting in but it would be better for college football. i mean seriously computers deciding who plays for the national championship???
