  1. I'm going to invent the piezo-electric bovine flatulence ignition heat system.  It will fire off when cows f**t, both disposing of the methane exhaust and providing a free heat source for those cold barns in winter.

I'll make billions, I know it.

  2. Good idea..

  3. Yeah but where and how would you fit it.  not like a car where you just bolt it on.

  4. Why waste it? If your going to invest in the labor - shove a 3 liter empty soda bottle up there and sell the gas after you cork it.

Cheaper and yet it looks like recycling to everyone but the cow.

  5. The kids round here would steal them & scrap them.

    £15 each.....!

  6. Definately!  Just try finding where to put it.

  7. Catalytic converters do not reduce the levels of methane or other global warming gasses from animals. Much of their global warming contribution comes from forest clearence for fodder (esp GM soya) & processing & shipping, anti-biotics, trucking to remote abertoirs, then packaging & out to supermarkets and chillers/freezers etc.

but reducing the amount of intensivly farmed meat & dairy we eat would help reduce our environmental and climate footprint and improve our own health and that of local farmers/butchers.
