  1. i always wanted a red room, but my momma would never let me paint my room such a dark color (she had painted it *sudder* a very light mint green). anywho, i love the idea of a dark red room. just keep in mind that it is going to make it look small if you paint all four walls. in my old bedroom, the north and south walls were a color called Rodeo Tan (Behr Paint) and the east and west walls were Tennis Court Green (Behr Paint). so maybe you can do two walls dark red and pick a second color. or you could even do broad stripes of the two colors. or do the top part of the wall one color, and the bottom half, the other

  2. Well every one likes different colours.

may be you like dark red but think..... Dark Red colour will give you feelings of evilness, blood, hate.... etc. but when is comes to flowers they should be red... NOT THE ROOM.

try having some dark blue with light purple colour combination.

or just purple and pink will give you good feelings when you live there.

all colours are good but try choosing good colours that suit things.

Blue colour gives you feelings of freedom and will give you feeling that you are not in a room but you are living in sky.

    so best of luck.

  3. I don't think so i think its too heave color and make peopel agresiv

  4. Do it! I love red. My own bedroom has a dark red feature wall ("roasted pepper" by Behr). The rest of the walls are a medium mauve called "ponder."

I don't feel "evil" or "hateful" in my room, and I don't think of blood. I think it's s**y & dramatic. In fact, since the majority of time in my room is spent sleeping, I don't really see the room color at all. :)

If it's what you want to do then go for it. You can always change it if you don't like it.

  5. Sounds great if the room is large enough.

  6. Sorry I think that dark red should be used on your window treatments, area rugs and accessories. I love the color red, but I'd paint your room, camel, grey, taupe or soft yellow. That way if you get tired of dark red you can still use any other color with those walls. Dark red will make your room look smaller and dark.

  7. Dark colors tend to make a room seem smaller.  Unless your room is huge, think about painting one wall dark red, and the other walls eggshell white.  You could put yur bed against a white wall so that you could still see the dark red wall.
