he WILL BE a great player in the nba. it will take time for him to get in the rhythm of being a PG in the nba. it took two years for williams and paul to become great PG in the league. it will be the same for rose. except, paul and williams were 21, rose is 19. this pick was made for the future. the bulls are trying hard to make noah, thomas, deng, sefolosha and omer asik(http://insider.espn.go.com/nbadraft/draf... to build a championship team.

Personally, I'm not sure if Derrick Rose is indeed the 'real deal'. Will he be a star in this league? Yes. But did the Bulls made the right decision to draft him? That I don't know. Why? I really thought that they could have made the 'right' decision by drafting Michael Beasley instead of Derrick Rose. But, they made the 'right' decision by pleasing the fans. Derrick Rose is a Chicago native that's why it is also a righteous pick/decision. But when you look at the way the team is build-up, it would have been better if they choose Michael Beasley. Kirk Hinrich will slide, to, back-up the rookie Rose? He is captain Kirk. Anyways, both Rose and Beasley, I believe, will be a star in the league.

Nope, I am not sold on Rose as being the real deal. I will have to see how he plays in the Bulls system to really cast judgement though. Beasley however is the REAL DEAL.

Great driver

Great rebounder (for his size)

will be the 3rd best pg in the leage (behind Deron/cp3)

Just needs time...don't forget the pg position is the hardest to learn so it will take time.

He also needs to extend his range

I hate Chicago, but man I wish we could have had Rose...oh well Oden is ten times better and Bayless is not to bad himself LOL
