Quite a deep question from me really, I'll try to give you an example.

I just had a dream about one of my best mates, now in real life this person at times has been a bit selfish , probably more so as time has gone on. But he's still a main friend along with a few in this group who I consider my best friends.

Anyway, this dream . We were out on night celebrating a different friends enjoyment of some kind.

He'd done something which I thought was totally out of order so we started arguing and fighting, my other friends didn't know the full picture so they were sort of siding with him.

When I woke up I hated my friend for this, so much I was still spitting feathers about him, even after I realised it was still a dream, lol

What If we have dreams where for the most part can't remember the details, but subconsciously remember parts, especially if they are occurring, can we dislike someone for no REAL particular reason?

  1. I believe they can. I remember when I was back at school I had a dream I was kissing this guy that went to my school. The thing is in reality i never spoke to him and never gave him a second thought. When i woke up from the dream I had the biggest crush on him! and when i went to school i got all giddy around him! weird huh? Maybe your subconscious is telling you whats best for you.

( I didn't end up with he guy BTW)

  2. absolutely!

i have had many dreams that have made me cautious of people, as it turns out it is my subconscious warning me that something is wrong.

  3. sorry but all i can say is that the way you think is very much different to the way your mate thinks, . dreams are simply trying to tell us something ,dreams try to warn us of friends who may try to harm or do something that may not be right,

i always ask people a question, ( what is the true meaning of friendship) think about the question and then decied for your self ,

remember dreams are there to give you helpful messages  and warnings. think about it.

    good luck and take care.

dont let it ruin your day mate

    hope this helps

  4. It shouldn't happen but it does.

Please remember that your friend is only a representitive of aspects of yourself that you recognize in him.

Your feelings about your friend are clarifying as well.  But try not to be to hard on him.

You mentioned that you felt that your friend was a little selfish.  This is something that you mentioned because you noticed it.  Consider your self view, do you feel that you have been selfish at times.  If so the first thing to do is forgive yourself, sometimes being a little selfish is ok and if you discover that you are more than a little 'anything' just move on and try to work on it.

Jesus said, 'Go and sin no more."  Or if you like, "Don't do that again."

  5. dreams rarely change our feelings about a person; they are a reflection of your subconscious.  rather, they make you more aware of your true feelings.

you distrust your friend; dreams often portray your fears; your friend betrayed your trust, and you hated him, because you realized you thought this was something he might do. so you have a real reason; but you cannot use what he did in the dream as justification for how you treat him.  instead, think about what he did initially to make him behave so in your dreams.

  6. Absolutely it can, I can remember some very vivid dreams, good ones and bad ones and they usually happen pretty much how I dream them which freaks me out, a couple of years after my mum died I had this most vivid dream of her, we were both in a tropical location and she was flying around all over the place and when I woke up I felt like a great weight had lifted from my shoulders, I think it was my mum trying to tell me to let her go, shes free now and that was a real relief for me, and have had more sinister ones which have since been proven true about a couple of different people, I think your mind stores information and when you are asleep your subconcious analyses the days events and it sticks in your mind and then you have a dream about them which your subconcious mind makes up to show you something, so yeah, I would keep your mind and eyes open to everything and mostly these things then to come true, whether we make it happen or our subconcious steers us in this path, don't know for sure, but I do know that its happened to me! :)
