  1. no.

alcohol should obviously be illegal as well.

    cigarettes arguably should, too.

the bottom line is that you don't live in a libertarian society, and lawmakers and courts have seen no problem whatsoever justifying anti-drug and anti-alcohol laws under our constitution.

the importance of keeping drugs illegal is drastically underrated.  during the Prohibition era, which is vastly cited as a failure these days, nationwide alcohol consumption decreased by over 50% compared to the years before the law was passed. by simply making alcohol, which was already ingrained into our culture at the time, though not to the degree that it is now, literally over half of its use was erased.  (granted, the law was still broken extremely often, since alcohol consumption prior to its passage was immense, but the overall good done by the reduction of consumption was quantifiably massive).

you do not live in a libertarian society and have no "right" to use any product that you want unless society doesn't prohibit it.

  2. And destroy people's lives and health?

    i think not.

  3. man i hit up that crack rock every once in a while man s***s good no doubt man i feel you on this one

  4. No. They ALL should be illegal, and the government has every right to tell you that...that's why it is the government. Its protecting the people from themselves, although they don't seem to get the memo, cause they keep causing all sorts of problems. Accept what the law says, don't break it, its just stupid.

  5. You made a good point but were ever your at there has to be some type of order without order comes chaos the government also says killing and suicide is illegal but do you think the government shouldnt be allowed to tell you u can't do that drugs are a drag on our society illegally imagine if it were legalized.

  6. h**l no :-O

  7. WELL YES AND  I DO THINK BEING A DRUG DEALER SHOULD BE LEGAL..LIKE COME ON..THE DRUG DEALER NOT FORCING YOU TO BY THE DRUGS..SO THATS HIS JOB TO SELL IT AND COPS GO CRAZY OVER THEM..AND ONLY REASON ITS ILLEGAL IS BECZU MOST OF THEM BLACKS

BUT DOIING DRUGS SHOULD BE FOR WHO EVER WANT TO..NO BODY IN THE WORLD FORCES NOBODY...

    SO YES

  8. no, drugs mess your mind well a lot of stuff do but..

  9. no because the people like you would run a muck.  just kiddin, but seriously though, if every crack head was given the go ahead to do what they want then society would collapse.  and america was the land of the free two centuries ago when people were escaping government, laws, taxes and religious persecution...we've just stuck to that ideal and we're brought up to believe that we're living freely not realizing how repressed we really are.

  10. The world is messed up already from drugs. If they make them legal, we will really be messed up. I think you should start to think about better things. Why the h**l would you want to legalize suicide? You should help people, not kill them!

  11. depends on what drug and no you should not be able to do coke if you want to because that'ss dirty but i do understand that you should be able to do and NATURALLoccurringg drugs suck as marijuana hash and shrooms but it would be moderate such asAmsterdamn its not legal to do drugs in public or be under the influences unless its under the jurisdiction of a establishment suck as arestaurantt but u cant be sittin on your porchs mokingn a bowlbelieveeve that is what we should do

  12. I agree, to some extent. Marijuana and other common drugs should be legalized, but the hard drugs should stay illegal.

  13. Thats like saying..oh shouldnt it be legal to kill people if its a free country

  14. Drugs have nothing to do with freedom

  15. I think if drugs were legal there would be a lot less crime.

  16. I think pot should be illegal and thats it.

    Everything else is junkkk.

  17. I think they should be illegal. They may calm you down and relieve your stress, but your problem is still there after that high wears off.

And even if the bad drugs were illegal, there will always be that one - can't say the word, so let's use "annoying" - person who finds a way to abuse prescription drugs.

  18. drugs are legal, the 3 most abused drugs in america are niccotine, caffine, and alchohol, all 3 terribly addictive, debillating, and a source of great income for our goverment. White sugar was coming on strong but then we installed h.f.corn syrup in our schools to s***w castro and the next generation! P.S. can you get good blow?

  19. h**l,yeah! Weed should definitely be legalized. It's both fun and healthy. Trust me, there are very few things that come close to giving the pleasure that inhaling marijuana does.

  20. they are and they're expensive

  21. yup its like suicide and the drug companies are killing millions

  22. Weed should be legal. its not a drug, its a plant. it just grows like that and if you so happen to set it of fire, there are some side effects.

  23. i actually read an article which indicated the legalization of marijuana would benefit the states' economy. i'm not exactly sure what we're waiting for...

and just because someone uses drugs doesn't mean it's going to kill them; many people are responsible users. doctors also prescribe pot to their patients. regardless if it's legal or not, people are going to use it. yes, there are some abusers. just because someone drinks, that doesn't classify them as an alcoholic. it's the same thing with any other drug out there.

and if marijuana was legal, maybe there would be fewer users. many countries in europe don't have a drinking age. therefore, the kids aren't rebelling like they do here in the states. if it was legal it might not seem so exciting to younger kids that want to experiment.

  24. I think it depends on the drugs, if its something like meth or any other drug thats going to seriously F you up then no you shouldnt be allowed it, but I think that if drugs were allowed then it wouldnt be that big of a deal. I think the main reason alot of people do drugs is because they are told not to and usualy when people are told not to do something then it makes it more tempting

  25. "We have been overtaxed, and over regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founding fathers would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with"

"The thirteen colonies revolted over far less."

Quotes by Congressman Dr. Ron Paul

I'm ashamed of the other answers. The drug war and drug testing wastes billions of dollars and destroys countless lives every year.

My right to choose what goes in to my body has nothing to do with anyone else, and a government that claims otherwise is overreaching. If a person interferes with another's life, liberty or property, they are in the wrong. Any substances that happen to be in their blood are incidental and irrelevant. If a mountain climber falls to his death to we blame the mountain? Cars kill people to, yet no one suggests to make them illegal.

Alcohol and cigarettes kill millions every year, so why the double-standard?

We need to focus on harm reduction and end this four-decade failed prohibition. I didn't serve my country in the US Air Force to silently watch while more control is taken away from the people and given to the elite.

Let personal responsibility and individual freedom ring well into the next century.

End this drug war and wage drug peace.

  26. Free IS NOT CRIME AND DEATH.

    DRUGS KILL.

    GREETINGS FROM THE UK.

  27. The main reason I think drugs should be legal is 1- the stuff would be safer .... regulated known of this lacing stuff - 2- it could be taxed and that could help pay for caring for those idiots who over do it!

I think you are a little mixed up though about the idea of 'Freedom'.  You are free to do all those things, there are just consequences .... and one of the consequences in a democracy is that CITIZENS have the right to vote ...... those laws were put in place by the people of the USA, not some nebulous 'government'.

The USA, if people would get off the ars is by the people, for the people, of the people"  Take some responsibility!!!!!!  Quit sounding like my kids did when they were 7 - "But he won't let me", "she made me "....... NO ONE makes you.  You choose to live by the laws or not.  YOU CHOOSE to vote or not ....

YOUR CHOICE!  You are Free to choose
