I think it's a silly meaningless symbolic act.  Humans are vain if they think for a nanosecond that they can change the Earth so much. It's as if the dinosaurs had any control over the environment. btw the weather was hotter..and then we had a cycle that turned into an Ice Age..all this happened before man invented the SUV!! omg!!!

I will trun out the lights tonight, and the global warming is something that is happening NOW. For example, Bogota, the city where I live used to be 5 celcius degrees, now it is very hot, like 16 celcius degrees, plus when it rains,wow, this is a mess, usually with rain comes floods.

Didn't you see that an iceberg that was 1500 millions years old just fall and it is now floating in the sea?

Haven't you see the poor polar bears swimming till death?

You should be more aware about it, because the only thing that makes me sleep every night is to know that if the human being continues the way it's going I am not going to be the only one who will be dead due to hunger or lack of water.
