Personally, I think globalization is a fact whether we admit it or not. So anything in the world has some repercussion on our country. And the politics of our country is our concern as citizen.

Yes, absolutely.  Knowledge is power.  We are easy to manipulate as long as we are ignorant of history and politics.

I think it's very important to know what's going on in the world because it affects us one way or the other.  We should also pay attention to politics so that when we vote we are voting for the person who most shares our values.  The decisions our politicians make concerning our dealings at home & abroad affect us all.
