Do you think every golfer is glad that Tiger Woods is out of commission for a while?

Don't get me wrong, we all know Tiger is still #1, but other players such as Anthony Kim, Sergio Garcia, Paul Goydos are probably thrilled that someone else will get a win in.

I'm sure in the backs of their heads they are, but the only way to be the best is to beat the best.   If Tiger isn't there, they are not playing against the #1 player in the world.  A win is still a win, but it would mean more if you beat the best.  Also, they are professionals.  They don't want to see anyone out with injury.

Tiger Woods doesn't win every tournament nor does he compete too often. The players should be satisfied in that respect. When he does compete he is usually one to consider as a possible winner. No one on the tour should be thrilled to see any competitor side lined. They very well could be next on the list.
