I've seen some people act in ways that I know they wouldn't want to be seen acting in public. I think people should be protected during this time...also from embarrassment. I saw one at a service that was supposed to be a loving service..She was screaming etc. A charismatic said what a beautiful deliverance it was. I didn't see anything beautiful about it.

  1. I agree 100%

When I do exorcisms I want as few people there as absolutely possible. No more than one or two  family members, and a friend who helps me.

The reason is because when there is a lot of activity going on; people become very frightened, and the spirit(s) will use all of this negative emotion against the people there (making the entity stronger.

I usually recommend most of the family (especially the women and children because they are much more emotional) go out to a movie or the mall in order to take their mind off the situation.

  2. no cause the demon will go move into another person in that public area thats weak.

  3. nope.. it is very dangerous to noot only those  conducting it but anyone in reach. during exorcisms, the spirits become increasingly violent. doing this in public may not only harm the public but also scar them for life.

  4. No

  5. think that exorcisms should not be done at all. you are dealing with things that you cannot control. the church forbids any one to do it and only a few in the church are allowed to try.

  6. No I do not think they should. Usually the dark spirits want attention and that would only be giving it to them. They feed off thing like attention, our fear, and our negative emotions.

  7. Not in public deenie...it would turn into a freak show at the carnival...lol

  8. Hi Deenie! No, exorcisms should not be done in public. That wouldn't be good. It is EXTREAMLY rare that someone gets posessed.

  9. As long as you have a priest or rabbi, who ever is the highest ranked in your religion there is the only way to do a real exorcism.  It has to be done at the place where the person lives to get the demon out of them and their home.  If the exorcism is done at a church for example, the demon is still at the home and will take over again.  The more you fear them the more they gain strength

  10. I am torn on this one Denie.  On one had, I think those who conduct the exorcism should be held up to public scrutiny.  It's possible this could have prevented all the deaths that have occurred as a direct result of exorcisms.  But on the other hand, if a public spectacle is made of it, then there's the possibility people will begin to emulate (copy cat) the behavior of those who claim to be possessed.  If I were a betting man I would say that public exorcisms would directly result in a rash of reported possessions.

  11. With a proper psychiatric evaluation, one can easily debunk the "possessed" theory.

It would be interesting to study an MRI scan of the brain functioning while the person thought they were under demonic possession and under going an exorcism.

Then compare that scan with a normal functioning brain scan.

It may just very well show the person had been chemically imbalanced all along.

    Edit...........

I never said anything about a person being drugged.

I meant if a person were to talk to a clinical psychiatrist, the diagnosis would far differ from your version of a priest with a Bible and holy water, shouting at a person that is already delusional.

  12. There's no such thing as exorcisms.

  13. No.  The people present should know what they're doing.  They need to be trained to deal with spirits.

  14. No, absolutely not!

There is so much as a layman we do not understand about exorcisms. There is a lot of beliefs that would scar that person for life(even if the exorcism worked).

The fact that some one is saying things and acting in a manner that is totally against their nature. The belief that an evil spirit will release itself from one person to some other in close proximity.

It is just something totally private that only a select few should be a part of.
