Do you think facebook is a good or bad thing? does it cause arguments in your relationships??

Facebook is supposed to be a social utility - but is it any good for your personal relationships when young women and buff men are added to a partners facebook? the secrecy of personal messaging and secret "actions", do you think it is a good or bad site?

As a social utility it is a good thing as it connects you with people that you may have lost contact with, if your partner can not trust or respect your privacy then it would cause arguments but there again if it was a good relationship to begin with there would be no secret messages anyway!

It is a neutral thing.  How it is used can be good or bad.  If you are doing things that would make your significant other upset and then post them online, it can cause arguments.  However, it does foster communication, for better or worse, which can be good for your relationship.  If your relationship is shaky where knowing too much about what you are doing moment by moment would cause arguments, then perhaps the relationship has deeper-rooted problems that aren't caused by facebook, just exposed by it.

the best thing to do is to not keep your facebook secret in a relationship.  give your partner your password and vice versa so you have total trust and nothing to hide.

Not neccisarily a bad thing, if your bf/gf has something to hide from you it's a good indication that they need dumping.
