  1. They definately do.

All of the teenage girls want to be like the celebrity stars and be perfect, skinny, grown up, and not be able to live without a boyfriend for two seconds. Maybe the magazines should pick some different girls who have more meat on their bones to show everyone that the size of a toothpick is not the size that you have to be.

I think that reading those magazines are a waste of time, energy, and life. I don't really care what happens to the stars... think of all the time teens waste reading magazines about these celebrities when they could be doing things that are more productive.

Totally ridiculous. That's my opinion. =]

  2. Of course they do.

All those media define some "ideal" image of what a woma needs to look like.

Especially in the US, culture wants you to be like everybody else. So if you are really influenced by TV, movies, magazines, you'll end up crazy to fit in the mold.

  3. Of course they do. Everyone has an idol that is famous. It isn't that great to say that the idols have all these secrets. Such as anorexia. That is really sad to watch little girls have idols that are going down hill. I loved Britney when I was little, but she got preg, and I'm older now so I realize I don't want to be a low life like her!

I think that on tv when you see them going to parties and drinking and drugs, it might look cool on tv, then the kids go to parties and drinks and tries drugs.
