prettygirl fraud mayweather always had an excuse for everything,and with her so-called brittle hands always came out when she had a bad performance..when this fraud challenged winky wright mayweather publicly stated he would school winky & when winky called his bluff floyd folded..i was just wacthing the mitchell vs mayweather match & in an interview floyd says he would fight everybody at welterweight that had a belt & beat them & in that same interview merchant responded with so why did you turn down the 8 mill for the wbo champ margarito?the smile on floyds face turned into a frown & started stuttering..& floyd said margarito is not a household name & merchant quicky replied so bruseles,ndou,& mitchell are household names?floyd said larry you always give me a hard time & FLOYED CHANGED THE SUBJECT!what a fraud!

I saw that interview on tv, it was pretty hilarious the way mayweather wanted the respect he deserved.  He was a boring fighter, he had dodged a lot of big names, like ALOT of BIG NAMES.  Baldomir is like a david diaz in the welterweight division, pointless fight, but just for the belt.  But after that he picked his fight and avoided more fight.  Winky stepped up, Shane wanted him, margarito wanted it, and cotto wanted it.  They were all willing to take on mommy mayweather, but he declined again and again disappointing the fan.  The only thing i give him props for is his win over oscar, which i had oscar winning the match.  

Flashback, when oscar pulled a little floyd on trinidad and trinidad was pulling an oscar, Trinidad won through aggression.  This time oscar is the aggressor and mayweather is just running and clinching, he wins.  WTH.  Floyd is a fraud and will never be a true champion until he can take the best, whether he wins or lose.  I mean, i still respected cotto even after he lost the fight to margarito and i even have more respect now for margarito for beating cotto, but never for mayweather until he proves it.  Every word he says, "i'll fight toe to toe" what a fake comment.  More like running with my toes...

mayweather is nothing but a Btch! i will never consider him to be the best because he never fought the best! the best fighter he fought was de la hoya who was already past his prime, and he only won by 1 point, and i still give the fight to de la hoya, even mayweather sr said de la hoya won, but whatever.. he needs to come back out of retirement and fight the best welterweights, mosley, cotto, and margarito

I agree with you. A lot of fighter talk alot of talk and don't always walk it, but floyd was put as the P4P and didn't fight anybody worth mentioning except for a aging ex-champ(oscar) a mini-no threat(Hatton) a poor performance against Baldimar and then acted as if cotto,margarito,williams, didn't exist. what bothers the most is that the fights could have been made and floyd would have been a favorite that even if he loss people would have more respect for him than they do now foe how he has acted.

The thing with fight Antonio Margarito is besides Floyd their has been a long list of guys that turned down fights with this guy.Shane Mosley and WInky Wright,but in the same right their has been guys Margarito has chosen not to fight. Just because a guy doesn't take a certain fight doesn't make him a coward.One with creating a fight you have to consider both sides of the fence. People always talk about how Floyd didn't fight Margarito but they never mention how when Margarito challenged him Face to Face he said " when the Time is Right' meaning that when a fight with you is worth it then we can fight.

Antiono Margarito is a good fighter,but for a long time people didn't fight him because he was unproven and wasn't worth anything. He was  dangerous "Iron Chin" puncher without a major belt,Fan Base or  even a "Big Name" PPV sales are all about who has the "Big Name" and I cant knock a guy for turning down a dangerous fight with a guy who had nothing to offer.

Look at Paul Williams once he beat Margarito what happened people just said "Oh Margarito wasn't nothing anyway". That's why its smart to wait for a guy to get a "Big Name" and Fan Base before you fight him. Why do you think Oscar hasn't fought Margarito because he's a Fraud, no Because Oscar knows Margarito has the belts but isn't a bonafied star. IT SUCKS BUT THATS WHAT THE BOXING BUSSINESS IS MONEY SOMETIMES GETS IN THE WAY OF FIGHTS.

This is so funny. You know who you are, Cotto fans that's trying to jump on the Rito band wagon because theres fell off. First off, Mitchell was the first Welter he faced. Rito is a good fighter and not putting him down. Rito just enjoy the biggest moment of his career. He's bean spending most of his career, trying to get were hes at now. Turning down 8min to fight Baldomir for the same amount and the belt. Are you talking about Rito turning down 4 million to fight Paul Williams and declined a rematch? Notice when Cotto lost, Merchanites, the crew quickly pulled Cotto c**k out there mouth and put Rito's in there sweat little *****. I tell you one thing, Cotto folded in the corner to Rito. Rito did his thing and should enjoy this win. Soon as he lose, they going to cry and say dam it Floyd. The Cotto fans was calling Rito a bum, how he was going to knock Rito out and box circle around him. It didn't happen, and they are seeking shelter among the Rito camp. Cotto fans are realy grasping straws right now.
