Earthrace the fastest boat on the planet.

Fueled, entirely by Bio-diesel.

The ships skipper and some volunteers.

Had liposuction and contributed 10 Ltr's of their own fat.

Enough to move it a mile

  1. read that article....found it interesting, but not really practical...kind of a waste of money that could have been better spent on other things..but interesting

  2. Absolutely.

There are enough fat people in the USA to donate the fuel~

  3. During liposuction, you get pumped full of saline to break up the fat for easier removal. Have you ever put water in an engine? It doesn't work.

  4. i think that is good for fat people

but for skinny ad anorexic people it might cause them another way to become sicker

but i do like the idea!

  5. If you are morbidly obese you may go for a few miles on the lipoe'd fat. Not too good an option as it cost more than $20,000 a gallon. Ha.

  6. Sure, why not? The fat is just going to be thrown away anyways.

  7. Honestly, I'd have to say that's just disgusting. How about fueling it with your own fat, metabolically speaking? Like, rowing?

  8. I have heard of boats that are powered by our own body fat. They are called Paddle Boats.

    Ha!

  9. gross.

  10. um no that is not a good idea

  11. This sounds an exellent idea. Fat people could be forced to donate fat once a year for public transportation use. By mixing it to dieselfuel it would come to everyones benefit

  12. IT IS NOT THE FASTEST BOAT on the planet. Possibly the fastest bio-fueled boat.

  13. not as good as methane gas from your farts.  get two miles per f**t.
