  1. because of the raising cost to run them im sure give it a few years and you will see a big drop on the people owning the family car. there for something will need to be made to take its place..

  2. probably......but i think not in the near future.....

  3. Eventually, yes.

  4. No, we have a infinite supply of gasoline.  Stupid question!

  5. not for along while, and i think depends on which regions in the world you are talking about

  6. Hydrogen is a gas, but I guess you meant petrol and diesel

  7. NO !!! Fossil fuels are recycled by plants for us ,and the other fuels may not.

  8. most personal vehicles will eventually be replaced by electric (solar charging is free, renewable and electricity is available on the grid anywhere and everywhere right now)  as oil/gas prices rise the prospect of electric vehicles for general personal transportation will increase.  This would be the most efficient energy platform due to existing electrical infrastructure.

However some heavy vehicles will still need to operate on Deisel - there are some very clean deisel engines coming out now and they are needed for extreme work / heavy machinery.

  9. Yes in time because of global warming.

  10. It may take several years, but eventually, yes.  Why? Because oil is a FINITE RESOURCE.  We will eventually deplete the world's stores of oil.  I think even OPEC would agree with that.  It's just a fact.  It will run out.

And for the guy above who said nature "recycles" fossil fuels for us (that statement is stupid for about six reasons) it takes nature billions of years to make the oil we use in a day.

  11. not at all

gas is going up and we have a huge problem with dependency on forign oil but do you realize we have millions and millions of gallons of oil here in the US?

alaska, the barren fields, the coasts.

we are sitting on SO MUCH oil but the environmentalists wont let us drill for it

so thank a democrat for the high gas prices!

  12. I sure hope so.
