if we stop this stupid war and spending trillions on stupid ****.............take care of all the fraud in our government........bigger tax returns for rising costs....... concentrate on making money and flowing it........be responsible with credit and stop approving retards that don't understand what credit means...............stop making cars that have a lot of liters that guzzle gas like no tomoro......then we will see a pause

i think it will keep rising. Because i have heard that for our gas prices to level out will have to be when it is the same amount as Europe's( which is like $9 -$10 depends on the country)

i do not know this for sure but i have heard from someone who works at the oil places say this

They know that if the Europeans will accept such prices then Americans will do so as well! They will push it for all the market will bear, regardless what the consequences it will cause!

I think they'll keep rising through the summer.  Hopefully, then they'll taper off some.  Has anyone tried the Water4Gas?  I've heard that it really works.  It was on our local news channel the other night and they interviewed local mechanics who agree that it works!  Check it this ad about it:

Morons in SUV's are still passing me going 80 mph. Obviously, the price isn't high enough yet to make them drive at a more economical speed, so prices will continue to rise.

The gas prices have been rising for the past 10 years... they will continue to rise, so long as the public is too weak or cowardly to do anything about it...  

Why would the gas companies desist in raising prices, and haul in money, if no one is willing to do something about it?

The gas companies know that they can raise gas to 10 dollars and most people will not do anything about it. People would rather complain and pay the bully...

proof of this is that 99.9 percent of the world DOES NOT like the cost of gas... but even with that huge number which is in the BILLIONS they ALL agree to CONTINUE to pay high prices...

No, they are going to keep going up until our President steps up and actually does something.. His family has been linked to oil and gas for years... He has big $$$$ in investments..

Its always the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.

We are in for a total recession far worse than any other disaster in history.. The bottom will fall out with just about everything that pertains to humans in the USA.. and it sucks.

I don't know.It will hit a price where it puts a whole segment of the population at a real disadvantage.Working poor and middle class is what holds this country together.The bureaucrats are so hung on the greed they either can't see this or don't care.They only see the money to be made.When that happens,we will truly be in a bad place where we may not recover for years or if ever.People seem not to see beyond their own little world and just go with the flow,instead of finding solutions now.

I think it will keep on rising.  Its the governments' fault. They should control the oil companies not them being controlled by the oil companies.

Not sure.  It's a c**p shoot at best.  Many people are saying prices will fall drastically as traders take profits.  

But with increased global demand, and little if any increase in production, we are only one war or upheaval away from $500 barrel oil.  If that happens then it's back to horses and growing your own food and stuff like that.  

Only time will tell.
