Global warming itself is not a scam.  It is happening.  However, this situation is being overexaggerated by people such as Al Gore.  It is being caused by both humans and the natural environment, but it's not like there will be no more ice in the world by next year.  Some people are trying to make money off of exaggerating this, while others are trying to make people take  action by exaggerating global warming.

the only Inconvenient Truth we have is that Al Gore is an idiot. Yes, they have no sufficient proof and yet people are believing them. so they have someone who has respect and is looked up to, like al gore, to convince people, whether al gore knows it's a scam or not.

At first I thought that it was a scam.  The various data that were presented by both sides have valid points.  While I was in the middle of indecisiveness, I stumbled upon an article regarding the Navy's High-frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP).  Nikola Tesla came into mind right after learning what  this huge contraption is capable of doing.  In short, this weapon is capable of manipulating a certain region's climate.  

It was noted that while there is no concrete evidence of HAARP having been used, scientific findings suggest that it is at present fully operational.  However, for such weapon to be deemed "operational", some tests should have been made.  Right?

No.  That suggestion that some people make is preposterous.  How could tens of thousands of scientists withhold any lies from each other, let alone from the press and the public?  It's a silly idea proposed by the same types who thought that the lunar landing was a hoax:

Al Gore isn't the only one in on the scam.

Many "environmental scientists" get loads of grant money and basically will tell any lie in order to keep their job security in tact.

Gore made most of his money in the oil and tobacco businesses.  His father got rich doing corporate deals with Armand Hammer.  

So Al Gore was already filthy rich before he came up with that movie that contains 36 known lies.

To clarify, Yes there is Global warming! The evidence is conclusive that the planet has slowly been getting warmer from the last little Ice age.  Burt there is ZERO evidence that we are the cause of that warming.

Yes the Glaciers are retreating. But one can use the Mendenhall Glacier in Alaska as an example. The majority of the amount of retreat was BEFORE 1942.

There is other examples such as the retreat of the polar ice caps on Mars.  This shows that it is most likely the sun , Not CO2 emissions that are causing the warming.

There are correlations that are made in Al Gore's Movie that have now been throughly discredited. For example he make a  direct correlation to Hurricane Katrina and Global warming. It is alleged that there will be more Hurricanes because of our impact on the environment. Well this simply is not true. We have had LESS, Not more Hurricanes in the last two years.

Opinions need to be based on science, not suppositions. One can study the science out of Woods Hole that clearly show the earth temperature was warmer than it is now during the  warming period before the little Ice Age.

HINT.. It was green. There is plenty of documentation that there were settlements by the Norse.

Again this shows that the climate was warmer than it is now.

It is also proof that mechanics OTHER than CO2 can clause Global warming and Global cooling.

More importantly this issue takes our eye of the ball on what we should be focusing on. The earth does have limited resources. As the world wealth increases, more and more people will want more goods. This is not sustainable.

We Must! I repeat we must get our population under control. If people want large families then they should adopt.  There is the the greatest threat that the world is facing. It is also a threat that can be addressed without spending a good portion of each country GNP.

No, it isn't a scam. There is alot of false information out there which is some times un-wittingly passed on by public figures which people use as amumition to say its all fake but there is also alot of proven facts and very reliable data to show its happening and partially our fault. It is sometimes exaggerated but this could be put down to modern societys attitude to only caring if its sensationalised and imminantly serious.

No, it's not a scam. People have not taken this seriously yet because there hasn't been enough scientific evidence and actual proof that the eye can see.

Now that more information is being gathered and we're able to see exactly what is happening, we are more alert so you're hearing more about it.

The more educated we are about Global Warming, the more we can do to help.

Also, if you follow Al Gore's history, you'd know that he's been trying to put this information out there for a while but being a political figure he had restrictions as to what he was allowed to present because as you know, the government and politics are the reason why people are only now waking up to realize what damage we've been making.

Disagreeing with Gores politics or his view about global warming is one thing.  Thinking he's doing it all to make money, is simply irrational.
