  1. The least of our problems.

  2. It is a very minor problem that probably has more benefits than harm.  Environmentalists have used GW to resuscitate  socialism.  Socialism was nearly killed a couple decades back but like cockroaches, socialism seems to be really difficult to eradicate.

  3. i am not completely sure.

so many distorted facts and unbiased opinions, i just don't know.

    but this i do know.

whether or not global warming is a threat, we still need to take care of our planet because this is the only one we have, no other like it, so if we s***w it up, we have no where else to go.:)

  4. NO!!!!!!!

  5. YES!

  6. Yes, I agree with the Bush Administration that it is a threat to the country and to the long term worldwide health and economy.

  7. Yes.

It is a threat to many people out there that have been brainwashed by one of the greatest scams in history.

I suggest plenty ofr Prozac for them to "calm down" their panic & fear attacks.

    My 2 cents.

  8. No, history tells us that mankind thrives during period of global warming, the average height of europeans was 2 inches taller during the medieval warm period than europeans who lived during the little ice age, this was due to the fact that they had much higher crop yields during the warmer periods.

  9. It is the most ridiculous concept going today.  It is the liberal politicians attempting to ram bs down the stupid publics throat so that they can capitalize on the American economy.  We have had nearly 32,000 scientist scoff at this baloney, over 9,000 with doctorate degrees in science.  Any one who wants to accept this should contact me, I have some lakefront property for sale in the desert.

  10. Well, that does appear to be the case.

Look at it this way.  If Global warming is true, and it is behind what is causing for example, the coral reefs to bleach and die off, once they are all dead, well, they could be gone forever, same for all species which could go 'extinct', such as those which depend on the reefs, for them, there's no replay button.  Likewise, if releasing trapped CO2 and methane in permafrost and ice which has been there hundreds of thousands of years or longer, is a bad thing than that isn't good either.  Best example... frozen methane hydrate deposits in the oceans... Marine biologists claim that it may already be too late, there are hydrate deposits which are already beginning to thaw out.  Methane is 30 times more powerful as a GHG than CO2.

The point is.  If Global Warming is real and it has already begun, then whether or not it is a threat goes without question doesn't it?

My opinion... As much as I would rather believe like others on here that Global Warming is just science fiction hooey, I'm not convinced of that, there are too many scientists and too much data supporting it is real, so unless this is the biggest conspiracy the world has ever known (and believing that is more fantastic than anything), I'm afraid we've got problems which are just beginning.  My heart goes out to every species which goes extinct each day that can be blamed on human activities and to our human descendents over the next few hundred years if this is in fact real and we are not able to get it under control soon.

  11. I think the handwriting is on the wall. I had breeding animals and noticed about 5 years ago there was somethings going on and being outside much of the time the sun felt different.I also have the thought that this global warming is a natural thing but we as a fuel burning society are speeding it up.Reading history I noticed there were drastic weather changes all through history.  Sudden freezing or droughts. The first thing to get affected in my observation are animals. They are honest reflections of nature.I think of the earth as a living thing and rights itself when something is wrong. Even if that means freezing or burning us.Mother Nature is the most powerful mother on earth.

  12. For the moment? No.  But that may be the problem.  People are bogged down with immediate concerns.  But you may live to see a coast line extend to the western outskirts of New York City or the eastern outskirts of LA.  So put me down for a, "yes."  Consider it a threat at the moment because we need to be concerned at the moment.

  13. Basically I'm not having a go or lecturing you but you are currently wrong because scientists have said that although the globe is warming you shouldn't call it that because in places like india and australia it may get cooler but to answer you're question yes it is because if you've noticed this but the petrol prices have gone up because we are using it too quickly but also because the earth is basically is getting too hot in certain places like Iraq and afghanistan and the oil is just getting too thin to get so it is affecting us now.
