  1. Nothing we have done has made any difference. Nothing anyone is proposing will make any difference. The Kyoto protocol, if fully implemented, will make no important difference. Carpooling, recycling, planting trees, installing more windmills and solar panels, none of it will make even a dent in it.

  2. It might get worse or it might get better, the point is that "worse" and "better" are subjective. Climatic changes have always taken place and will always take place, the question is which lifeforms will adapt to the new conditions and which ones will die out.

  3. Yes It Will Get WORSE. I'm No Professional But The Coal Factory Things Pollute Too Much. So I Say Nuclear Power Is Cleaner But Its Also Very Dangerous Because There May Be A Meltdown.

  4. In Antarctica, they are studying the ice pack to see the past, and CO2 has been at its peak when ever the earth has been in a heating cycle, however, CO2 had not exceeded the 150 ppm level until recently where it is now 340ppm. This may not seem like a lot, but in terms of nature is a disaster.

In order to make a significant difference, we MUST make large scale efforts. That means everyone must contribute as much as they can to eliminate the use of coal burning electric plants, wasted water, and other harmful practices from our current lifestyles.

Global warming will only get worse until people get scared enough to do something about it.

It is estimated that even if we did not release 1 more ppm of CO2 starting now, the lvls. of co2 will continue to rise for at least the next 50 yrs!
