I don't think going to one is wrong. The only real bad thing about strip clubs is that they are a total waste of your money.

It really even isn't about what religion one may belong to. Humans are sexual creatures, just like the animals in the wild. We all have our vices, and once in a while, they need to be sated, even if it means taking your hard-earned bread and blowing on some knock-out dancer that is only giving you the time of day because she is just looking to make money off of you.

The Bible is a good teaching tool. It is merely a guideline for just being a good person. That's it. Whether the stories are real or fiction is entirely up to the reader. What it teaches does hold true to life and it helped to develop the person I am now. But unlike some people, I actually think for myself and I didn't let religion turn me into a drone. The reason that a lot of things were designated as "sins" is because there will always be people out there who have no concept of self-control and will do things to excess. Learning to have discipline and moderate yourself is what makes you a real human being.

Your personal morals should evolve from what thought you put into them, and that you should not restrict yourself from having fun just because a book says you have to. See things for what they really are, and not just look at everything as black and white. Don't assume that something is wrong because a book says it is.

Killing for pleasure is wrong. Cheating on your significant other is wrong. Exploiting children is wrong. Paying some girl (or guy) to merely dance for you is not.

I am neither atheist, theist, or agnostic. I am only one thing: myself.

Because of all these judgmental people I'm going to say a big "NO" there is nothing wrong with going to strip clubs. The wrongness is in the mind of the beholder.

It depends on if you are only there for the buffet. But seriously It is up to the individual to decide what is wrong in this case. Personally I have been there once and I didn't feel anything wrong about except that the beers were 5.25$. So yes strip clubs are wrong for charging so much for beer. I'm agnostic, the religion with rational thought.

Yeah. God calls us to remain pure and really, do you see God approving of that? Most people's consciences know the answer already. As Jesus said, looking at someone with lust in your heart is pretty much the same thing as acting on it. I'm a non-denominational Christian.

As to fluffy's comment, "Wrongness is in the mind of the beholder," I disagree. That would make right and wrong YOUR decision, and trust me, by ourselves, we are evil. That seems to be the dominant mindset of today, and I'm sorry, but I really don't see that making civilization function any better and that's not what God says at ALL.

I don't see anything ethically wrong with strip clubs, but they are a waste of money.  Unless you have a lot of disposable income, you're probably better off just buying cheap p**n.

Yes, it's tacky too. There is no true positive social contribution from those places. They have no socially redeeming values. They're full of women who are on drugs or who have major issues from being molested as children. It's sick.
