Depends on which Hairspray you're talknig about.

The '87 version, or the 07' version?  Personally, I like the older one better.  The 2007 one was pretty good, and the music was catchy, but there was a bit too much music, if you know what I mean. The 1987 versio nwas not a musical, was hysterically funny, and was a great work of social satire.  

But ,yeah, both are good movies.

i did enjoy the movie but i hated all the racism but i know that that's how it was back in the 60's. My favorite character is Tracy because she shows that even though someones over weight, they can still be good at dancing and can be a good person.

I really like that movie because it has really good dance moves. And it shows that any shape and size can dance just has good as skinny girls.
