Do you think hannah montana is a bad influence to children? (Adults Only Please).?

For a 15 year old (i think thats her age) she looks very mature, and seems to be growing up so quickly. I don't have children myself, but I wouldn't want my children if i had any to see her as a role model. I think she almost looks a bit like a tramp for someone her age. What do you think?

Well the same could be said for those such as Jamie Lynn Spears.  She has just given birth to a child and what that signifies to younger girls is that it is ok to have children at such a young age.  But the question was about Miley Cyrus.  I believe that she has done some things that showed poor choice and lack of judgment.  With that being said I think that the parents should be screening what their children watch and instilling in them core values so they know the difference between a role model and a star that's its in for the money.  I think that Hannah Montana should not be a role model for children to be like, because remember as a person, she posed in racy photos, and that sends a signal to teen girls that is ok to do those actions.  There is nothing wrong with watching the show itself, as long as children can distinguish between real life, and what the character portrays.  Me personally, I don't watch the show, and I really don't have a good or bad opinion, I just think as a parent you should be careful of what your children watch no matter what it is..

Can I break the adult only rule to say that if I acted/dressed like her I would be in BIG trouble (I am 15). I would also like to add that some of the stuff in her song sounds really dumb/S****y coming from a girl her age. She has no clue what the real love she sings about is. Leaving now.....

My 13 year old daughter watches her & listens to her music & i'm O.K. with it.

If the child has good parents, their influence should rise above everything else. Parents are not doing their jobs if they allow something like a fictional television character teach their children what is acceptable and what is not. Not at that age. I think as long as a parent is smart and knows what their kid is watching and doing, they shouldn't have anything to worry about.

I would not consider her a tramp. Even though she did pose for naked pictures, her father was with her giving her permission. Because she is famous and is getting a large quantity of attention is the reason why she is so mature for her age. I would not be worried.

I really don't think she is a bad role model. I don't have children either. I have seen a couple of episodes and thought that they were cute.

I have seen animated movies with crude innuendos that kids don't catch onto because they don't think that way yet.
