Do you think hannah montana is a good role model?

i was just wondering sense im 22 and not a parent if hannah montana was a good role model i hear people who say she isnt but i dont know why what did she do and when my neice comes over should i let her watch it

Well, Miley Cyrus, who plays Hannah Montana, took a bunch of half naked pics and posted them on the internet for the entire world to see, so she's not the best role model.

And the actual character of Hannah Montana, the entire show is based on her and her double life, so that isn't the greatest morals to be teaching children.

Miley Cyrus is a regular teenager and for that reason she's not a rolemodel. But she is not a horrible person either, she's just rich and people like hating on her.

The show is just dumb, but then again, it's targeted at young children.  The reason many, myself included, feel that the actress, Miley Cyrus, is a bad role model is because of some rather risque pictures she's taken on more than one occasion.  First there was the pictures of her eating candy from her friend's mouth, then the cover of Vanity Fair, both could have been dismissed as silly misjudgments had she not then proceeded to take more pictures including those of her in a shower with a wet t-shirt.  

Personally when I have kids I'm not going to allow them to watch anything on Disney Channel because I don't want them to grow up believing even if you have no talent a bleached smile and a poorly sung song can make you 'famous'.  But it's up to your niece's parents.  If they let her watch it, go ahead.  If not, don't.

she's isn't necessarily bad.

and mostly girls who hate her are jealous cause she has everything they don't (fame, money, etc.) but w/e.

just prevent your niece from like worshiping her.

well shes a 15 year old i'm glad people wern't following me around when i was 15 because i was up to some worst things than half naked pics of me i think it would be fine to let her watch her just think what were you doing when your were 15 and if your mormon well you win this round
